Jersey Description

Mighty cool piece of hockey history was donned by Michel Plasse and comes with a neat story from Doug Favell. It was Favell who starred in the Rockies’ first game ever, a 4-2 win over Toronto, but Doug’s handwritten letter informs that Plasse relieved him for a few minutes in the third period because of a cramp, with Favell returning to finish the game. White mesh jersey by Champion (size 48 tag) has the screened-on Rockies crest that the team only wore during its first 10- or-so games, with the “30”s on the back and sleeves also screened- on. Favell’s letter also reveals that he switched from #31 to #33 after a couple of games, with Plasse taking over #31. Jersey has been preserved in near perfect condition with a light stain below the “30” on the back. From Doug Favell’s personal collection, with his signed LOA.
